In one sentence

JaugeAI does not collect, store on servers, share or sell any personal data. No account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics.

What the Mac app reads

On your Mac, JaugeAI reads, read-only, the session that the Claude Code tool saved in your keychain or its configuration folder, and uses it only to ask Anthropic’s servers for your usage percentages (the same call as Claude Code’s /usage command). JaugeAI never renews that session itself and never copies the refresh token. A copy of the access token may be kept in a keychain entry of JaugeAI’s own, on your Mac only, to avoid repeated authorization prompts.

The Mac app also reads Claude Code’s local files to compute the live session, advice and cost estimates (you can turn this off in its settings). It keeps only numbers and project names; the content of your conversations is never kept or sent. If Codex is installed, it asks the Codex tool itself, read-only, for your ChatGPT plan’s limits: Codex signs in on its own, JaugeAI never sees a credential.

What is stored, and where

• On the Mac: usage readings (percentages and reset times) for 90 days, a local diagnostic log and your settings.
• In your private iCloud: the latest reading and its history (percentages, daily summaries over 90 days), cost estimates, project names and advice, through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so your iPhone and Apple Watch can show them. This data only goes through your iCloud account; the publisher has no access to it.
• On iPhone and Watch: a local copy of that reading for widgets and complications.

What is never done

• No data is sent to the publisher or any third party. The Mac app’s only network requests go to Anthropic’s servers, plus its update check; the iPhone and Watch apps make no network request to any third party.
• No analytics, tracking or advertising tool is included, in the apps or on this website.
• The content of your conversations or sessions is neither kept nor sent.

Purchases

The “JaugeAI Pro” in-app purchase is processed by Apple. JaugeAI receives no payment information; it only checks, through Apple’s StoreKit framework, whether the purchase is active.

Mac app updates

The Mac app checks once a day whether an update is available by downloading a feed file hosted on GitHub. This request sends no personal data.

Ideas and problems you send us

Nothing leaves without you. “Report a problem”, in the app, prepares an email in your mail app with the app version, the system version and the device model; you review it and send it yourself. We keep these emails while we handle the request. An idea received by email may be reposted, without your name, on the public ideas page. Ideas posted on GitHub are public and hosted by GitHub under its own terms: never include personal information, tokens or credentials.

This website

This website is hosted by Vercel. It uses no cookies and no audience measurement. The host may keep technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security and to run the service.

Your rights and contact

Apart from the emails you write to us, the publisher collects no data: there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side; deleting the app and its support folder erases everything locally. Any question: contact@jaugeai.fr. Publisher: Paper34, France (see the legal notice).
