Mod for Claude Code Pro
Your limits, above the prompt.
The JaugeAI band shows, in Claude Code, each AI service you use with its plan, its tightest usage limit and the time until it resets. No more typing /usage: you see where you stand before starting a long task.

Install the band
In Claude Code, type these two commands, then start a new session:
/plugin marketplace add BenjaminSanchezPaper34/jaugeai-claude-code
/plugin install jaugeai-band@jaugeaiWith JaugeAI Pro, you can also turn it on without any command, from the Mac app: Settings › Coding agents › Band above the prompt › Claude Code.
Requirements
- A Mac with JaugeAI for Mac 0.5.21 or later, running.
- JaugeAI Pro, a one-time purchase in the iPhone app that also applies on the Mac with the same iCloud account.
- Claude Code, in the terminal or the desktop app.
Without Pro, the band shows a single line saying so. Without the app, a single line points to jaugeai.com. Both close with ×.
Day to day
/jaugeai | Shows or hides the band |
|---|---|
× | Hides the band; /jaugeai brings it back |
A limit at 95% or more turns red. When the app has not updated the numbers for 20 minutes, the band dims and says how old they are.
Nothing leaves your Mac
The band reads a single local file written by the JaugeAI app. It makes no network request, sends nothing and reads neither your conversations, your code nor your credentials.
Your agent can also check your limits itself: explore the JaugeAI MCP server
Frequently asked questions
How do I see my usage limits in Claude Code?
Install JaugeAI for Mac. It shows your 5-hour session and weekly limit in the menu bar, under the notch, in widgets, on iPhone and Apple Watch, and, with this plugin, above the Claude Code prompt.
How do I know when my Claude Code limits reset?
For each service, the band shows the time left before its tightest limit resets, for example “↻ 1 h 24”, updated every minute.
Does the band replace /usage?
It makes it unnecessary day to day: the numbers stay in view while you work. /usage is still available in Claude Code.
Does it work with Codex and Gemini?
Yes. Each service JaugeAI tracks gets its own place in the band: Claude, Codex and, since Mac 0.5.22, Gemini through Antigravity CLI.
Is it an official Anthropic plugin?
No. It is an independent plugin, compatible with Claude Code, published by JaugeAI. It uses Claude Code’s documented plugin system (mods).
Does it work on Linux or Windows?
Not yet: the numbers come from the JaugeAI Mac app.
